ist Facharzt für Innere Medizin/Kardiologie. Nach Studium in Bonn und Philadelphia (USA) Facharztausbildung am Universitätsklinikum Bonn (UKB). Dort Tätigkeit als Oberarzt und Leiter der Bereiche kardiovaskuläre Bildgebung und Ambulanz f. Erwachsene mit angeborenen Herzfehlern (EMAH). 2008 wurde er auf die deutschlandweit erste Universitäts-Professur für Bildgebung in der Kardiologie berufen. 2011 wechselte er als Chefarzt nach München. PD Tiemann ist ein weltweit angesehener Experte für Herzbildgebung und verfügt über exzellente Kenntnisse in der Echokardiograpie, CT- und MRT-Diagnostik des Herzens. Zudem verfügt er über eine große Erfahrung in der Diagnostik und interventionellen Behandlung der KHK und strukturellen Herzerkrankungen. Im Rahmen von internationalen Großforschungsprojekten entwickelte er neue Bildgebungs- und Therapie-Verfahren. Er ist in seiner Karriere für zahlreiche internationale Fachzeitschriften aktiv, u.a. als Editor in Chief der renommierten Fachzeitschrift Echocardiography, im Review-Board internationaler Fachzeitschriften und als Sprecher von Fachgesellschaften .

Chefarzt PD Dr. Tiemann ist von den führenden Fachgesellschaften im Bereich der Herzbildgebung auf höchstem Level zertifiziert. Er verfügt über Zusatzqualifikationen Stufe III der Dt. Gesellschaft für Kardiologie und der Dt. Gesellschaft für Ultraschall in der Medizin. PD Dr. Tiemann ist auch als Ausbilder für die Herzbildgebung tätig. Auf verschiedenen Patientenbewertungsportalen gehört er zu den Top-bewerteten Kardiologen. Gemeinsam mit Prof. Th. Lewalter verfügt er über die volle Weiterbildungsberechtigung für die Kardiologie.

Für Privatpatienten oder Selbstzahler bieten wir ein breites Leistungsspektrum im Bereich der Kardiologie an. Ein besonderer Fokus in der Ambulanz von unserem Chefarzt PD Dr. Klaus Tiemann liegt im Bereich der bildgebenden Diagnostik (Echokardiographie, Gefäßultraschall, Herz-CT und Herz-MRT). Daher sind neben der Vorsorge und Prevention von Herzinfarkt und Schlaganfall besonders die Diagnostik von Herzklappenerkrankungen und die komplexe Diagnostik unklarer Herzerkrankungen im Fokus der Sprechstunde. Durch das Zusammenspiel verschiedener, schonender Bildgebungsverfahren, können wir invasive Verfahren, wie den Herzkatheter, oft vermeiden.
Am Osypka Herzzentrum kommt die Diagnostik aus einer Hand.
Unsere Ärzte können auf modernste Technik zurückgreifen: 3D Ultraschall, ein high-End CT (256 Zeilen) und in Kooperation mit Chefarzt Prof. S. Ley ein Herz-MRT System stehen für die sanfte Diagnostik zur Verfügung. Am OHZ sind wir nahezu komplett digital: D.h. für die Befundbesprechung mit Patienten und Kollegen können wir stets auf alle Befunde sofort zugreifen.

Für Privatpatienten oder Selbstzahler bieten wir ein breites Leistungsspektrum im Bereich der Kardiologie an. Ein besonderer Fokus in der Ambulanz von unserem Chefarzt PD Dr. Klaus Tiemann liegt im Bereich der bildgebenden Diagnostik (Echokardiographie, Gefäßultraschall, Herz-CT und Herz-MRT). Daher sind neben der Vorsorge und Prevention von Herzinfarkt und Schlaganfall besonders die Diagnostik von Herzklappenerkrankungen und die komplexe Diagnostik unklarer Herzerkrankungen im Fokus der Sprechstunde. Durch das Zusammenspiel verschiedener, schonender Bildgebungsverfahren, können wir invasive Verfahren, wie den Herzkatheter, oft vermeiden.
Am Osypka Herzzentrum kommt die Diagnostik aus einer Hand.
